Cold Drawn Technology Cold Drawing Process
In the cold drawing process a hot finished seamless tube is used as the material (mother tube), the mother tube, after pretreatment, is cold drawn by the drawing bench to specified dimensions, as shown in the following diagram. the processed tube is subjected to final heat treatment based on its intended end use and then sent to the finishing and inspection process.
Hot Drawn Technology
The seamless pipe product is finally formed by heating the metal billet to a certain temperature (usually above 1200 degrees Celsius), and then using special equipment to pass the billet through multiple roll rolling, perforation, and other processes, and pressing the heated metal billet into a tube.
