According to the main performance and use of the hardware, the hardware can be roughly divided into the following categories
1), suspension hardware, also known as support hardware or suspension clamp. This kind of hardware is mainly used to hang the wire insulation substring (mostly used for linear poles) and hang the jumper on the insulator string.
2), anchoring fixtures, also known as fastening fixtures or wire clamp. This kind of hardware is mainly used to tighten the terminal of the wire, so that it is fixed on the wire insulator string, and is also used for the fixing of the lightning rod terminal and the anchoring of the cable. Anchor fixtures bear all the tension of wires and lightning arresters, and some anchor fixtures become electrical conductors
3), connecting hardware, also known as hanging parts. This kind of fittings is used for connecting insulator strings and fittings to fittings. It bears mechanical loads.
4), continuation of gold tools. This kind of hardware is specially used for connecting various bare wires and lightning arrester wires. The connection bears the same electrical load as the wire, and most of the connection fittings bear all the tension of the wire or lightning rod.
5), protective equipment. This kind of equipment is used to protect wire, insulator, etc., such as the pressure balancing ring for protecting insulator, the heavy hammer for preventing the pulling of insulator string, and the anti-vibration hammer and wire protection bar for preventing the vibration of wire
6), contact with hardware. This kind of hardware is used for hard bus, soft bus and electrical equipment to be connected to the wire terminal, the T connection of the wire and the parallel connection of the non-bearing wire, etc. These connections are electrical contacts. Therefore, high electrical conductivity and contact stability of contact fixtures are required.
7), fixed fixtures, also known as power plant fixtures or high current bus fixtures. This kind of fixture is used for fixing and connecting various hard or soft busbars and pillar insulators in power distribution devices. Most of the fixed fixture is not used as a conductor, but only plays the role of fixing, supporting and suspending. However, since these fittings are used for high current, all components should have no hysteresis loss.

According to the different structure and installation method, it is divided into four categories: bolt type, compression type and wedge type, and pre-twisted type.
NY tension clamp (hydraulic type, steel anchor welding) is mainly used to fix the wire to bear the tension of the wire, and hang the wire to the hardware on the tension string or tower.

1. Clean one end of the crimped wire for about 1m and apply conductive grease.
2. Put the cleaned aluminum tube (outer diameter D) into the wire end and pull it 1m away from the wire end. 3. Use a vernier caliper or a tape measure to measure the size l 2 of the front end tube of the steel anchor, measure the length of the steel core to be stripped from the end O of the wire ON= l 2 + Δl mm (Δl is 15mm), make a mark, and tie it at a distance of 20mm from the mark Take the newly tied wire P.
4. Open a section of aluminum strand at the end O, and fasten the exposed steel core end with a binding wire. Then use a cutter (or aluminum wire stripper) to cut the outer and middle aluminum strands at the mark N. When cutting the inner aluminum strands, only cut to 3/4 of the diameter of each strand, and then break the aluminum strands one by one. When stripping the aluminum wire, it is strictly forbidden to bruise the steel core. )
5. Crimp the steel anchor
A. Select the steel pipe die "Cd#" that is consistent with the outer diameter d of the steel anchor. The installation instructions for the NY tension clamp in the substation should verify that the diagonal angle of the hexagonal die is dmm;
B. Press the steel After the core is cleaned, rotate and insert it into the bottom of the steel anchor along the stranding direction of the steel core, and the
end of the steel anchor exposes the steel core with a length of about 15mm; At this time, the wires on both sides should be
kept horizontal with the steel anchor, and consistent with the axis of the hydraulic press, so as to reduce the possible bending of the pipe after being compressed.
D. Crimp the front end pipe of the steel anchor. The direction of crimping is from the groove of the pipe to the pipe mouth. When applying pressure, the two adjacent molds
should overlap at least 5-10mm. After compression into a regular hexagon, the distance S between the opposite sides of the regular hexagon should be verified. The allowable value of S is: S=(0.866*0.993d)+0.2. After molding, use a standard caliper to check the size of the opposite side distance after pressing. (Note: The actual pressure of the hydraulic pump should not be lower than 80Mp, and when the pressure reaches the specified value, it should be maintained for 3-5s). Continue hydraulic operation only after the standard is met.
